Responsibilities
The Rice Lab is seeking a Temporary Research Technician to conduct research in cellular and molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease and normal brain function using cellular and mouse models.
Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Culturing of mammalian cells
- Biochemical techniques including Western blots and ELISA
- Sectioning, immunostaining, and imaging brain tissue
- Maintaining detailed experimental records
- Analyzing data and interpreting results
- Conducting literature searches
- Participating in lab meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in one of the biological sciences and/or equivalent years of relevant lab experience.
