Summary

The Pediatrics department is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Research Administration to assist with managing the day-to-day business operations of a departmental division by performing and assisting with the implementation of financial and grant related activities and programs.

Job Duties

  • Perform and assist Principal Investigators and Research Coordinators with the daily operation of a divisional unit, primarily in the areas of clinical trial documentation paperwork support and clinical trial grant management support.
  • Develop and prepare reports for post award clinical trials, and other funds.
  • Ensure the ongoing review and development of process improvements to maximize business productivity.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Assist with pre-award and/or post-award clinical trial related tasks in support of department faculty members.
  • Prepare and process purchasing orders for multiple faculty members.
  • Maintain spreadsheets for faculty laboratory orders and reimbursements.
  • Manage domestic and international travel in the travel management system (Concur). Generate faculty travel approval documents and enter faculty travel reimbursements in Concur.
  • Submit expenses for reimbursement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
