Job Duties
We are looking for scientific programmers, preferably with C++, Fortran,
IDL, or Mathematica experience.
Task 1 – numerical and analytical modelling.
Task 2 – comparison of results with measurements.
Students will work in an NSF Cedar Team at LU Physics Department. Undergraduate students who are good in mathematics and programming are welcome.
Computations and analytics in a variety of computer programs.
Minimum Qualifications
interest in geomagnetic activity phenomena, aurorae etc.;
knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Mathematica, LaTex, and Tecplot.
Availability: at least 10 hours per week in Spring 2024. GPA>3.0.
The applications will be considered, and the decision made on Wednesday January 31st.
