JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Candidate is expected to take an active role in enhancing the department's and college's research environment. This includes mentoring doctoral students. Teaching responsibilities would primarily be at the graduate school level.

Brigham Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate Department features many well-published faculty and has an active doctoral program. The university is located in Gainesville, Florida. Gainesville has a population of approximately 140,000, and is roughly a 2-hour drive or less to Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Ph.D. in finance or a closely related area and teaching experience at the graduate level.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ideal Candidate should have a record of impactful and highly cited research in top-tier finance and economics journals over a sustained period. Candidate with an active current research agenda and recognition as a top-flight scholar
