What Your Job Will Be Like: We are seeking an Administrative Support professional to support program and projects within Sandia’s Nuclear Threat Science and Response missions. A dynamic, action-oriented, and proactive candidate is sought for this position. On any given day, you may be asked to: + Schedule meetings and SVTCs across the laboratory including in SCIF space. + Monitor and direct entity email accounts. + Document meeting notes and track action items. + Coordinate purchases, facilities needs, and supplies for lab spaces. + Handle and manage classified workstations. + Coordinate large meetings and visits. + Organize documentation and support our business and program teams in their day-to-day needs. This job will have considerable opportunities to learn and apply new skills (GitLab, Microsoft Teams, Confluence) and be a part of our exciting NA-80 / Nuclear Counterterrorism and Incident Response mission. Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite 80% of the time. Qualifications We Require: + High school diploma plus three or more years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. + Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance. The position may likely require higher-level clearance, which may require a polygraph test. Qualifications We Desire: + Two years working with a large team (>30 people) directly supporting business and programmatic activities. + Experience working in intelligence or counterterrorism programs. + Active DOE Q-level and SCI clearance or DOD equivalent. About Our Team: The Nuclear Threat Science Department executes the Nuclear CounterterrorismProgram at Sandia National Laboratories. The Department provides technical expertise, practical tools, and technically informed recommendations to NNSA to advance U.S. counterterrorism/ objectives and build partnerships with key U.S. government agencies and certain foreign governments. Security Clearance: Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. Position Information: This Limited Term Employee (LTE) position is a temporary position for one year term, which may be renewed at Sandia's discretion up to a maximum of seven years. Individuals in LTE positions may bid on regular Sandia positions as internal candidates, and in some cases may be converted to regular career positions during their term if warranted by ongoing operational needs, continuing availability of funds, and satisfactory job performance.
