Position Summary:

The Senior Systems Analyst takes the lead to provide customer service on a technical and functional level for Oracle Cloud system users. This position assists the Associate Director, Oracle Cloud Operations in overseeing the planning and execution of technical projects related to Oracle Cloud including but not limited to development of new functionality, integrations, system updates, development of scheduled jobs, report writing, etc. This position is responsible for testing, monitoring, updating and providing support to users.



Main Responsibilities:

Takes the lead on HRIS projects. Partners with internal and external customers to ensure systems functionality meets business needs. Collaborates and coordinates across functional areas within HR, Finance and Payroll to ensure transactional accuracy and enhance system capabilities. Recommends process improvements for system users and provides innovative solutions. Develops customizations, integrates new systems and processes with existing ones.
Provides day to day technical support for system users. This involves troubleshooting and resolving issues, assigning and maintaining user access. Utilizes testing environment to validate and resolve issues before migrating fixes to production. Documents resolutions and updates standard operating procedures when necessary.
Creates and maintains HRIS reports. This involves creating data models, scheduling automatic delivery and maintains reports within all systems. Analyzes audit needs and works with subject matter experts to develop HRIS reports.
Reviews system release notes prior to updates and informs system users of changes. Coordinates testing with system users, identifies issues and provides resolutions prior to applying system updates in production environment.
Working with the functional team creates and maintains user documentation. Trains HRIS users and other functional areas of HR on best practices for transactional work. Continually seeks ways to enhance system capabilities. This involves participating in user groups, keeping up with system trends and changes, etc.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in HR/Business, Information Systems/Computer Science or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered
At least three years of HRIS systems administration experience
Three plus years of demonstrated success developing and leading a high functioning team
At least three years of strong technical experience developing and providing technical solutions for new processes
Demonstrated experience taking a proactive approach to enhancing processes and implementing system changes
Strong communication, analytical, attention to detail, decision making and problem solving skills
Experience using languages like SQL, PL/SQL, JAVA, HTML, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project management certification is a plus
Preferred experience working with the various modules of Oracle Cloud
Preferred demonstrated experience with Oracle Cloud implementations
