Job Description Summary:

The day-to-day operations on the golf course. Setting up the property for daily play. Mowing turf, detailing, edging and raking sand bunkers. Working weekends.

Job Description:

Description of Duties and Tasks

1) Setup the Golf Course for daily play.
2) Maintain turf areas, shrubs, trees.
3) Operate power tools, trimmers, blowers, hand tools.
4) Operate turf mowers, tractors and utility vehicles.
5) Professional Development hours up to date.
6) May perform minor maintenance and repair on equipment as required.
7) Remove debris from runoff during rainy season.
 

Knowledge 

* Equipment, tools, and procedures used in grounds care.
* Safe work practices.

Skills


* Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
* Reliability to  maintain an established but flexible work schedule.

* Operating golf course equipment and tools.

Required Work Experience

* Golf Course experience preferred, not required.

Required Education

* High school diploma or educational equivalent.

Physical Requirements

* Work is performed in a variety of settings outdoors. Subject to temperature extremes hot days, cold days and raining day conditions.
* Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing.
* May need to lift heavy objects of up to 50 pounds.

Safety

* Comply with all applicable Health & Safety regulation policies and safe work practices.

$22.00/hour
