The Temporary Administrative Assistant II will provide support to the Department of Medicine’s Bone Marrow Transplant Program. This position is part-time and provides coverage and assists staff, faculty, and guests while also working closely with section clinical partners. The Administrative Assistant II also works closely with the Section Chief and Business Unit Administrator to ensure daily administrative duties and special projects are being accomplished efficiently and correctly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities]
Provide administrative support to Business Unit Administrator and Section Chief
Back up Business Unit Administrator when out of office
Schedule on-line and on-site meetings/appointments
Organize and assist with special projects and events, specifically the Louisville Hematology Highlights
Coordinate with internal and external contacts to schedule and plan meetings, conferences, and events
Prepare and order professional print materials for distribution
Work with CME Office to ensure compliance for supported regularly scheduled session and reporting, as well as Louisville Hematology Highlights
Compose e-mails, memos and correspondence
Assist with management of faculty calendars
Provide training and support for other administrative personnel
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or experience working in a medical office setting; proficient with Microsoft suite products including excel.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
