Job Description

Manage assigned space projects initiated by the Senior Vice Chancellor Health Sciences Office for the 6 schools of the Health Sciences. Responsibilities include coordination of renovations, telecommunications, data, parking, security, and maintenance requests. Need to be able to deal with broad range of faculty, staff, and outside vendors.

Prepare and monitor budgets, analyze requisitions for conformance to budget, and responsible for identifying potential overages and insuring corrective actions.

Provide support to Associate Vice Chancellor of Strategic Space Planning and Management and Senior Project Managers in all aspects of space management.

Assist with space analysis (reporting, analyzing, summarizing, pulling floor plans) – will learn to use Archibus, space management system.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
Assists management with a wide variety of architectural and interior projects and leads project management efforts for small to modestly sized projects. Determines client needs and assists with scope of work. Manages construction drawing and specification development, prepares and reviews contracts, and assists with budgetary functions.

Essential Functions

Must have analytical skills and great attention to detail.

Physical Effort
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
