Responsibilities
The Etchegaray Lab in the Aging and Metabolism Research Program at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) is hiring a Postdoctoral Fellow. In the Etchegaray lab we study the intersection of inflammation and tissue metabolism during aging, with a major focus on the central nervous system and the tissue-resident macrophages that populate this tissue. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work in the field(s) of aging, metabolism, epithelial cell biology, and tissue-resident macrophage function. In addition to joining a dynamic laboratory, the candidate would also be positioned in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment that spans multiple Research Programs and NIH-funded Core Facilities at OMRF. Both US Citizens and International candidates are welcomed and would be supported in their pursuit for prestigious fellowships and grant opportunities both by the mentor and the OMRF Postdoctoral Training Program.


Qualifications
Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent in biomedical sciences or related fields with relevant experience.
