Summary

The Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a qualified candidate with training in adult neurology.  The successful candidate will be appointed at a faculty level commensurate with experience and achievement.  The successful candidate will provide clinical care for adults with neurological disorders in the outpatient setting.  The clinical focus will be on general neurology.

Job Duties:

Out-patient.  The Department of Neurology is recruiting for a neurologist to devote 100% effort providing clinical services with Harris Health Systems.   This time will be distributed between outpatient clinic staffing at two HHS Community Health Clinics: Gulfgate Health Center (7550 Office City Drive, Houston, TX 77012) and Martin Luther King Jr. Health Center (3550 Swingle Road, Houston, TX 77047)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree
  • Must have successfully completed residency training in adult neurology in an ACGME-accredited program
  • Board-eligible/board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Fellowship training is not required, although will be considered
  • Applicants who have just completed training will be considered as will applicants with previous clinical experience
