Job Description

This is a Part-Time limited term position. The incumbent is responsible for the setup of lab space for the purpose of delivering CSN welding classes off site (High Desert State Prison) from the CSN Campus. The lab space will be developed in collaboration with CSN’s Welding Program Director to ensure the space meets the required specifications suitable for CSN’s welding classes. The duties, tasks, and responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to setup new welding equipment, familiarity with CSN’s Welding curriculum, fabricate welding stations, acquire necessary equipment, travel to CSN’s campus for meetings, training, etc..

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least 10 years of experience in technical education (welding).

• At least 5 years of documented experience in the various welding processes.

Salary Range:

$20 - Hourly
