Job Description

Full-time, nine-month, one-year renewable position from the areas of the natural/physical sciences, social sciences, humanities or fine arts.

The Honors College seeks an innovative and dynamic non-tenure line faculty member to teach courses in the core honors curriculum, as well as upper-level honors courses in their areas of study. With a growing number of honors students from science, health, media, architecture, and pre-professional majors, the Honors College is particularly interested in applicants who might be able to connect aspects of storytelling with some or all of these areas. In a recent survey of honors students, which asked about future honors course interest, students highlighted course topics that might aid in their understanding of how storytelling, digital storytelling, and/or folklore connect to contemporary issues. While these are ideal areas, applicants from all disciplines are invited to apply.
