Term of Employment: Autumn 2024-Winter, 2026. Weaver Role = Position description:
The Cohort Weaver works with the learners in the MA in Leadership program. Each MA in Leadership cohort is assigned a faculty Cohort Weaver to work with the cohort for the duration of the 18-month program. Developing a strong relationship to the members of the cohort is essential for the Weaver to effectively support the learners. The Cohort Weaver attends the last in-person Executive Weekend (EW) session for each course in the MA program. The EW sessions are held in person on the Saint Mary's College Moraga CA campus. The Weaver also meets virtually (synchronous and asynchronous engagement) with cohort learners to connect their learning to both 21st Century Leadership practices and learning from prior modules. The main responsibilities of the Weaver are:

to foster the development of the learning community begun in the first module, which includes supporting individual learning through on-going written reflection; -
to support experiential learning as cohort members practice reflection - an important leadership practice which encourages personal and group transformation while increasing the wider effectiveness of one's actions; -
to maintain continuity from module to module and to support the learners' integration of program curriculum through reflection papers; and -
to be the liaison between the cohort and the program administration - for example, if a learner needs writing assistance, please talk with Weaver about this concern and the possibility of working with a writing coach.
Requirements:
Applicants must reside in California
Experience with online/hybrid learning
Experience working with learning communities
Familiarity with constructive development theory
