Position Description:

The University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD) is seeking a qualified Temporary Administrative Assistant II.This temporary part-time position will report to the ULSD Project Manager and assist in the organization, archiving, and digitization of physical files into a digital format. This role involves meticulous document handling, accurate scanning, troubleshooting of office equipment, and other tasks as directed by the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently with office technology, and the flexibility to assist in other administrative tasks as needed. This temporary position will work 22.5 hours per week and will not exceed 6 months.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review, organize, archive, and digitize paper files:Systematically process physical documents, ensuring accurate digital conversion and proper archiving.

  • Properly scanning, saving, and labeling paper files in a digital format:Execute high-quality scans and maintain clear, organized digital files.

  • Troubleshooting computers, printers, fax machines, scanners, shredders, and other office equipment:Resolve technical issues to ensure smooth operations.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager:Adapt to additional tasks as needed to support project needs and team requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
