The Department of Nutrition and Health Science invites applications for part-time faculty semester appointments to teach classes in public health,research methods, or nutrition/dietetics; face-to-face on the Ball State campus in Muncie, Indiana OR online.

The Department of Nutrition and Health Science has an ongoing need for the part-time semester Nutrition and/or Public Health Instructors.
Job Function:
The Department of Nutrition and Health Science invites applications for part-time faculty semester appointments to teach classes in public health,research methods, or nutrition/dietetics; face-to-face on the Ball State campus in Muncie, Indiana OR online.

Minimum Experience:
For public health:
- Master’s degree or higher in public health or closely related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 1 year of successful on-campus university teaching experience or related work experience
- For research methods courses, professional experience in research is also needed, such as work for a research study in a funded research grant
For nutrition/dietetics:
- Master's degree or higher in nutrition or closely related field from an accredited institution
- Prior teaching or GA experience
- For research methods courses, professional experience in research is also needed, such as work for a research study in a funded research grant
- For medical nutrition therapy courses, RDN required
Preferred Experience:
Additional years of successful college or university teaching experience and/or work experience, including research experiences.
