Job Description

The University of Oklahoma Biological Station (UOBS) is a remote campus of the University of Oklahoma, and a unit of the School of Biological Sciences located on the shores of Lake Texoma. Our mission is to provide excellence in education, research, and service for students and faculty of both the University and broader community.

We are looking for temporary workers to assist with our upcoming summer sessions, which will be taught at our location in Kingston, OK. Housing will be provided on site.

Duties will include:

  • Cafeteria food service and clean-up
  • Cleaning of grounds and dormitory rooms between sessions
  • General cleaning and maintenance as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Required Education: High School Diploma / (GED)

Skills:

  • Basic cleaning skills
  • Ability to drive (or willingness to learn to drive) a gator utility vehicle is beneficial, but not mandatory

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping and walking.
  • Both indoor and outdoor work environments
