Job Description

This position is being filler through OU's PEAK Temporary Staffing Service.

Duties:

Serves as a print and mail journeyman with a good working knowledge of bindery and printing processes.

  • Operates bindery, print, and mail production equipment.
  • Performs warehouse and courier duties.
  • Collects, maintains and organizes accurate job data from multiple sources.
  • Produces simple to moderately complex products to established standards, using the products, tools and specific machines available.
  • Performs minor repairs and adjustments with little or no direction from the supervisor.
  • Maintains quality standards at all times.
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the functions of the position.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; AND:

12 months of experience in printing or mailing processes.

Conditions:

  • Exposure to physically demanding tasks.Lifts 50 lbs. or more occasionally, bending and stooping.
  • Regular exposure to noise and odors.

Skills:

  • Ability to work on an independent basis
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions
