City of Hope is looking for a talented Postdoctoral Fellow to work on retrospective research projects that interrogate molecular signatures and prognosis in stage IV cancer.

As a successful candidate, you will:

Initiate several retrospective trials to evaluate NGS signatures in patients under 40 vs. older patients while interrogating race and ethnicity.
Collection and analysis of data from the randomized Investigator-Initiated trial (IIT) of Haystack vs. Signatera in colon cancer (IIT, Fakih, 150 patients)—to be launched in May 2026.
Collection and analysis of data from the launched neoadjuvant trial for FOLFOX botensilimab balstilimab (FOLFOX-BB) in rectal cancer (IIT, Fakih, 26 patients)
Collaborate with research team to complete biomarker studies on prior studies (RIN, BBR, FOLFOX-3B—all of which completed with numerous biomarker-driven projects pending).
Participate in paper writing of multiple research projects.
Data sets will be electronic. No biological samples will be handled.

Your qualifications should include:

A Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required.

Preferred qualifications:

Medical background in cancer (MD background preferred).

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $34.00 - $37.55 / hour
