Job Description
- Have flexibility to move between different inpatient units, ensuring that all patients receive top-quality care in line with City of Hope's high standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in various clinical settings, offering your expertise in cancer treatment and nursing care.
- Administer a wide range of treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, BMT, and specialized Hematology procedures, adapting to each unit's specific needs.
- Monitor patients closely, assess their conditions, and provide timely interventions and support as required.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies, tailoring information to individual needs.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation to ensure seamless continuity of care between units.
Your qualifications should include:
- Graduate from nursing school with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Graduate from a nursing school with a diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing and currently enrolled in a BSN program (must obtain BSN within two years of hire or transfer).
- Current California RN license
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute care setting and/or outpatient setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card through American Heart Association
- ONS certification preferred
