Job Function:
Provide teaching and instruction to student-athletes. Perform duties in all areas of the program at the direction of the head coach, athletic director and/or sport supervisor.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college by date of appointment.
Preferred Education:
Master's degree from accredited university or college.
Minimum Experience:
Gymnastics coaching and/or high level competition experience.

Preferred Experience:
Three years of collegiate gymnastics coaching experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide teaching and instruction to student-athletes.
- Develop, in conjunction with the head coach, the planning and overseeing of practice sessions, competitive coaching situations, and overall conditioning and training of the student-athletes.
- Assess and evaluate talent and recruitment of athletes in to the program, includes contact by telephone, electronic correspondence, mail, on and off campus evaluations and visits.
- Make recommendations and provide assistance in regard to fundraising, program promotion, and marketing, special projects, as well as organize and operate successful camps and clinics.
- Show commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of Ball State University, The Mid-American Conference, and the NCAA. Demonstrate professional, cooperative, and supportive behavior.
- Pass the NCAA certification examination on an annual basis and maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
