Accounting Clerk
Department: Accounting, Records & Payroll
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Position Overview & Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Accounting department. This position will assist the team with a variety of essential financial and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Verifying figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding

Reconciling daily deposits, daily cash reports, and receipts

Posting data to accounting software

Calculating, preparing, and issuing bills, invoices, and account statements

Verifying vendor invoices with purchase orders, ensuring accurate pricing and extensions

Handling inquiries and questions from vendors or internal departments

Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or a combination of education and 1 year of relevant experience

Excellent organizational skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Proficiency in computer use, preferably MS Word and Excel (or comparable software)

Knowledge of accounting software required

Extremely high attention to detail

Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines

Capable of working independently and as part of a team

Demonstrates professionalism with diverse personalities and cultures
Work Hours
Typically, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM.
