Job Description

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
US board certified, or a board eligible anatomic pathologist, or a pathology resident or fellow.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Stony Brook University Systems and processes.

Brief Description of Duties:
The position will encompass generation of a variety of types of information needed to train AI models designed to emulate how expert Pathologists go about exploring whole slide images with the goal of developing teaching tools and clinical decision support.

Duties:

The segmentation and labeling specific whole slide image regions and patches.
Generation and validation of verbal descriptions of whole slide images, regions and patches.
Generation of whole slide imaging traversal data linked with narration data.
Other duties as assigned.

The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
