Job Description
Summary
Responsibilities will be assigned by the Chair and Division Director and may be altered in response to changing Departmental and Division needs. The responsibilities will include managing private practice clinic duties at Texas Children's Pavilion for Women, providing OR, Labor and Delivery, and/or On-Call coverage, and participating in clinical activities at Harris Health Systems (HHS).
There will also be an expectation to participate in research projects as needed. All faculty are expected to participate in the College's education mission. Candidates must agree to discharge their duties and responsibilities faithfully, to abide by all rules, regulations, and policies, and to devote to the performance of their duties and responsibilities the amount of time and effort for which they are employed by the College. Candidates will be allowed to spend up to one-fifth of their effort on activities outside BCM (consulting, scientific board service, etc.), but outside time commitments beyond this require prior approval of the Chair and Division Director.
Minimum Qualifications
- M.D. degree
- Valid Texas Medical License.
