Position Description
The CORE Programs seek an adjunct faculty member to teach the following 1-unit section in Spring 2026:
CORE 370-01 Museum Practice: Collections Chaos
Tuesdays, 1:30 PM - 3:10 PM
This practicum course allows students to explore professional skills and practices within a museum setting, including curation and collections management.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
Internal applicants (BUFM) must have professional museum experience.
Outside applicants (non-BUFM) must also submit evaluations, evidence of professional museum experience. and teaching excellence.
The salary for a 1 unit course is $2,160.00-$3,436.00 depending on qualifications. The salary ranges for these positions are covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
Instructors must be a resident of California and all coursework must be taught in the State of California.
