Job Summary
The Program Manager for Undergraduate Studies oversees matters related to undergraduate programs, policies, and events in coordination with the College of AI, Cyber and Computing (CAICC) Dean’s Office, CAICC departments and other units. The Program Manager ensures all processes run efficiently, aligns with university policies, and meet timelines for deliverables and reporting.
Core Responsibilities
Develops and manages the scheduling of programs and special events related to CAICC undergraduate studies.
Develops and manage the production of and facilitates the review and approval of program materials ensuring quality and timelines are maintained, including student forms, undergraduate curricula and catalog, experiential learning programs, academic policies, and other programs relating to undergraduate students across the college.
Manages student communications workflow, including forms.
Administers scholarships in collaboration with department scholarship administrators, development officers, and financial aid.
Serves as an official member of CAICC committees related to undergraduate studies and student success and ensures all meetings are organized and effective meeting minutes are produced and distributed.
Assists CAICC units in undergraduate program-related assessment, accreditation, and evaluation activities.
Interfaces with CAICC Student Success Center, Advising Offices, and other university units related to undergraduate studies.
Supports the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies in their administrative duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Three (3) years of related experience.
This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated independent decision-making and problem-solving ability.
Tact, diplomacy, and judgment are necessary in dealing with others.
Able to develop and implement goals and objectives aligned with the program's mission.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Understanding of program management techniques and methods.
Working Conditions
Office environment.
Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events.
Occasional after-hours and weekend work or overtime may be required.
Physical Demands
Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary, if walking and standing are required, only occasionally.
Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force to life, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
This position is contingent upon a successful background check. Verification of a valid driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) may be completed as applicable. Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.
