Job Description
Minimum Qualifications
○ High school diploma or equivalent
○ 1+ years of experience in a customer service or administrative support role,
preferably in a medical or pediatric setting
○ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
○ Ability to work in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment with sensitivity and
professionalism
○ Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR),
scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office
License/Certification Required
Essential Job Functions
○ Greet patients, families, and visitors
○ Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages to appropriate
staff
○ Schedule and confirm appointments for evaluations, follow-ups, and therapy
sessions
○ Check in and check out patients, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance
information
○ Collect and process payments, co-pays, and other documentation as needed
○ Maintain the waiting area in a clean and family-friendly condition
○ Assist with intake paperwork and provide basic information about clinic services
○ Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and appointment
logistics
○ Obtain vitals on patients including height, weight, o2, and head circumference
Preferred Qualifications
○ Experience working in pediatric clinics, therapy offices, or developmental
programs
○ Familiarity with insurance verification and patient billing processes
○ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
○ Compassion for working with families navigating developmental and medical
concerns
○ Bilingual (Spanish)
Work Schedule/Hours
M-F; 8:am – 5:00pm
Number of Hours Per Week 40

Physical Demands of Position
Must be able to move around a clinic, work with clients in
rooms—standing, sitting, or on the floor with children, and utilize some computer
equipment. No other lifting or physically exerting activity is required.
