Salary Range
$85,000.00 depending on qualifications and experience

Essential Functions
The Business Analyst Manager is responsible for leadership of the Business Analyst team which supports the University as a liaison between business units and technical teams to achieve process improvement, documentation, and address issues alongside department end users. This position will provide support to the Vice President of Business Affairs, CBO in development, implementation and management of operational enhancements for the University as a whole through thorough collaboration with operations, management and IT.
1. Lead a team of business analysts responsible for assessing, documenting, and improving business processes across multiple applications, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency.
2. Design and lead the development of comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables, to successfully implement system changes and upgrades.
3. Translate business needs into technical requirements to ensure help desk tickets are concise before submission.
4. Design and assess decision support systems to support informed decision-making and ensure they remain effective and current.
5. The role supports usage, upgrades, application to business process, using various applications including but not limited to; UTShare PeopleSoft (Finance, Human Resources & Campus Solutions), Touchnet, Flywire, SAHARA, etc.
6. Oversee the analysis of business requirements, user needs, and application functionalities to develop effective solutions and recommendations.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with application vendors and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of goals.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to the applications in use, leveraging this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
9. Monitor and assess the performance of applications, proactively identifying issues and collaborating with relevant teams to implement solutions.
10. Provides frequent updates on all projects to leadership and coordinates escalations and planning with that office to ensure continuity and collaboration across all pillars and department.
Required Qualifications
1. Master's degree in business, IT, management or related field.*
2. Five (5) years' experience with process improvement initiatives and project management.
3. Project management experience, including developing project plans and overseeing project execution.
*Ten (10) years' experience can be substituted in lieu of education.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience using UTShare PeopleSoft FMS/HCM/CS.
2. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Schedule
Generally, the normal work hours for the university are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 - 5:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm with a one-hour lunch. The individual holding this position may need to be available early morning, evening, and on weekends to meet the needs of the department. Hours worked may differ with some departments.
Standard Working Conditions
1. Able to lift various materials up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
2. Able to bend, crouch, and reach continuously.
3. Physically able remain seated, frequently to continuously.
4. Able to remain standing up to 15% of the time.
5. Possesses dexterity abilities required to perform job duties including extensive keyboard work, operating office equipment, performing filing, and other job-related responsibilities that include extensive wrist and hand movement.
