Position Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Tandon Planning and Budget Office. Responsible for the complex and interpretive financial analyses of periodic reports and special projects for Senior Leadership. Oversee a portfolio of operating and designated accounts. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for creating financial reports, modelling revenue, pattern analysis, data mining and automating processes. This position will be tasked with analyzing financial data, forecasting revenue & expenses, preparing profit & loss statements, loading budgets, preparing presentations for Senior Leadership and quickly satisfying ad-hoc requests. In addition, provide a higher level of customer service to faculty as it relates to start-up commitments.

Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree finance/accounting

Required Experience:
5+ years work experience in a related area

Preferred Experience:
Higher education and budget planning experience

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Detail oriented, strong analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. The candidate should be fluent with financial concepts and tools (budgets, financial statements, data querying tools).

Hyperion Planning, Tableau, Workday

Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $113,960.00 to USD $133,960.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
