Job Description

Summary

The Intern will receive hands on training and experience in our translational immunotherapy research lab in order to improve their technical lab skills.

Job Duties

Performs entry level administrative or laboratory duties.
Observes tasks related to field of study or career interest.
Assists with special projects/programs.
Furthers understanding of CAR T-Cell and virus specific T-Cell therapies.
Reads current literature, participates in weekly lab meetings, and learns lab assays/ techniques, such as tissue culture techniques, ELISpot, flow cytometry, among others.
Participates in data analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution.

Preferred Qualifications

Undergraduate student with biological interest in T-cell therapies.
Goal of pursuing a career in biomedical sciences.
Knowledge of basic cell culture techniques used commonly in labs.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
