Job Description

Summary

The Intern will receive hands on training and experience in our translational immunotherapy research lab in order to improve their technical lab skills.

Job Duties

  • Performs entry level administrative or laboratory duties.
  • Observes tasks related to field of study or career interest.
  • Assists with special projects/programs.
  • Furthers understanding of CAR T-Cell and virus specific T-Cell therapies.
  • Reads current literature, participates in weekly lab meetings, and learns lab assays/ techniques, such as tissue culture techniques, ELISpot, flow cytometry, among others.
  • Participates in data analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate student with biological interest in T-cell therapies.
  • Goal of pursuing a career in biomedical sciences.
  • Knowledge of basic cell culture techniques used commonly in labs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
