Job Summary
Coordinate the administrative aspects of student clinical placements under the direction of the Director of Clinical Education and Program Director.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
CLINICAL PLACEMENT COORDINATION:
Coordinate the administrative aspects of student clinical placements under the direction of the Director of Clinical Education and Program Director.
Maintain clinical rotation schedules and coordinate student assignments with clinical affiliates and preceptors.
Coordinate communication with clinical supervisors, preceptors, healthcare facilities, school districts, and community partners regarding student placements and program requirements.
Assist with scheduling simulation laboratories, clinical practicums, and interprofessional education experiences.
AFFILIATION AGREEMENTS & CLINICAL SITE MANAGEMENT:
Maintain and monitor affiliation agreements with clinical education sites to ensure compliance with university and accreditation requirements.
STUDENT COMPLIANCE & CREDENTIALING:
Maintain student records and credentialing files required by clinical affiliates, including immunizations, background checks, CPR certification, HIPAA training, drug screenings, and other site-specific documentation.
Track student clinical compliance requirements, clinical hours, competencies, evaluations, and required documentation using departmental tracking systems.
Collect, maintain, and distribute student records to clinical affiliates as needed for student credentialing and onboarding.
CLINICAL RECORDS & DOCUMENTATION:
Maintain records of preceptor evaluations and student clinical performance evaluations for all clinical rotations.
Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of clinical education records in accordance with FERPA, HIPAA, university policies, and accreditation standards
REPORTING, ASSESSMENT & ACCREDITATION SUPPORT:
Assist the Director of Clinical Education and Program Director with preparing reports and documentation related to clinical education, accreditation, and program assessment
OTHER: Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of four years of professional or administrative experience to include a minimum of two years educational program experience or similar experience.
OR
High school diploma, GED from a state or federal accrediting organization and a minimum of seven years professional or administrative experience to include four years of educational program experience or similar experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
KNOWLEDGE
Working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.
SKILLS
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to build professional relationships. Computer literate, proficient with MS Office Suite of software.
ABILITIES
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F
Pay Band: B7
Salary: Minimum $20.29/hourly - Midpoint: $25.34/hour
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
