Intern/Aide - Part-time
Job Description
Summary
Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience. This is 10hours/week.
Job Duties
- Designs well-formulated hypothesis.
- Learns key research protocols.
- Learns how to recruit participants to co-create print ads/videos on health promotion
- Learns how to analyze graph and present health communication data
- Works with print ad and video companies to produce marketing materials and public service announcements (PSA).
- Works on getting in practical experience in health communications research, recruiting participants, administering surveys, assisting with focus groups, and analyzing, writing, and presenting health communication research.
- Works with print ad and video companies to produce marketing materials and public service announcements (PSA).
- Learns key research protocols.

- Learns how to analyze graph and present health communication data.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA or BS degree
- Current enrollment in a graduate program for health communications or digital medial/film
- Limited (< 1 year) experience with health communications research
- Has strong organizational skills.
- Be able to work independently and proactively.
- Be able to meet project deadlines.
- Be proactive in following up on action items.
- Has excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Has fluency in English.
