The Communication Department seeks to hire a one-course assistant for Comm 390-01, Collegian Advisor, in the Fall of 2024 and the Spring of 2025.

Job description: Advisor to the Collegian and instructor of record for students who write articles for the Collegian.

This course allows the advisor to assign credit for regular participation over the semester in the newspaper, the radio station and other agreed-upon forms of campus media.

Days/Times: TBD

This course will be taught in person, on campus.


Qualifications:
Terminal degree preferred, and experience teaching in Communication.

Salary: $2,482 - $3,436 depending on qualifications

The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.

Candidates must reside in California.
